Nigeria, Africa Re Announces the winners of the "African Insurance Awards"

On the margin of the 43^rd General Assembly of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO), which was held from May 8 to 11, 2016 in Marrakech, Africa Re, organizer of the "African Insurance Awards" announced the winners of the competition.

For this new edition, three prizes were awarded as follows:

• The "Insurance Company of the Year" was awarded to the Moroccan insurer SAHAM Finances for the success of its development strategy in Africa and the Middle East.>/li>
• The "CEO of the Year", award went to Jean Kacou Diagou, founder and president of NSIA Group (Côte d'Ivoire).
  This distinction rewarded his vision which allowed him to build one of the largest insurance groups in Africa.
• The "Innovation of the Year" was attributed to Cornerstone Insurance (Nigeria) for the launch of its new product "Cornerstone Airtel".
