All non-life business of Swiss Re is transferred to Zurich

Following the information published by Atlas Magazine in its issue 61 (May 2009) concerning the closure of non-life company Swiss Re Johannesburg, we were asked to clarify that any activity of non-life Swiss reinsurer is transferred to Zurich. The life business of Swiss Re Africa (South Sahara) will continue to depend on the Cape Town office.
