ARO's 2016 results

The Malagasy company Assurances ARO, has continued its progression and achieved in 2016 a turnover of 138 billion MGA (42 million USD), that is an increase of 10.7% compared to 2015.
The life insurance underwritings displayed a leap of 25% and 8% for the non-life class of business.

The incurred losses reached 61.5 billion MGA (18.7 million USD) up by 36% compared to 2015. The 2016 net result decreased at 589 million MGA (179.760 USD) against 1.5 billion MGA (475.500 USD) one year ago.

At the end of 2016, shareholder's equity stood at 233 billion MGA (71 million USD) against 217 billion MGA (68 million USD) in 2015.
