BCP is now the fourth shareholder of Mamda Re

The Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) has acquired a 16% stake in Mamda Re. The transaction amounts to 100 million MAD (10.7 million USD).

BCP thus becomes the fourth shareholder of the Moroccan reinsurer after MAMDA, the Bermudan reinsurer PartnerRe and the Mutuelle Centrale de Réassurance (France).

Created in 2014, Mamda Re has specialized in the reinsurance of agricultural risks.
