CNMA’s turnover grew by 2% in 2016

The Caisse Nationale de la Mutualité Agricole (CNMA) displayed by late 2016, 13 billion DZD (118 million USD) in turnover, up by 2% in comparison with the 12.5 billion DZD (117.27 million USD) recorded in 2015.

For the general manager, C. Benhabiles, this slight growth is praiseworthy, especially that the entire sector did not grow by more than 0.8% for the year in question.

Awareness about agricultural insurance and the introduction of products better adapted to farmers’ needs stand among the solutions proposed in order to develop the business.
