End of the restrictions on real estate investment

The Emergence pact will enable insurance companies to obtain a lift of the restrictions on their real estate investments. These companies will soon be able to invest in all kinds of property, that is, for private, commercial or industrial use. The Emergence fund used to authorize investments only in industrial real estate. The new regulation will allow to mobilize 57 billion MAD (6.8 billion USD). This measure represents a good opportunity for the real estate sector.
