"Medina Insurance" was officially born in Mauritania. The approval for the company's creation was published on January 2, 2016.

The new non life insurer, whose capital amounted to 300 million MRO (900 000 USD), will underwrite all non life classes of business including fire, motor, aviation, maritime transportation ...

Note that the Mauritanian insurance sector counts to-date, 12 companies and employs over 600 people.
