Floods, 1 to 1.6 billion USD for insurers

According to the French insurance association (AFA), the insured losses following the floods that hit France since May 30 would range between 1 and 1.6 billion USD.

At 7 June 2016, 77 000 insurance claims have already been reported and the number could double in the coming days.
