Foreign ownership in Indonesian insurance companies set at 80%

A new regulation on foreign ownership of insurance companies has been issued in Indonesia. The government has set the maximum foreign participation at 80%.

This decision will not prevent foreign companies with more than 80% from continuing their activities.However, they will no longer have the opportunity to upgrade their business level.
