Four Japanese insurers (Japan Post, National Mutual Insurance Federation, Nippon Life and Meiji Yasuda Life) are among the top ten global insurers in terms of net premiums. Japan is the only country that has as many insurance companies in the top ten. This situation reflects the economic growth of the Asian continent and confirms the decline of the euro area.
