Insurers unwilling to compensate losses caused by hail

Saudi insurance companies refused to indemnify owners of vehicles damaged by hail. Just like any other natural catastrophe, hail storms are not covered by insurance policies in Saudi Arabia.

On February 24, 2018, the city of Madinah witnessed an unprecedented event: a hail storm struck the urban area resulting in huge damage.
