Lloyd’s modernisation plan

After the significant losses due to the 2005 natural catastrophes, Lloyd's which is taking up with profits is currently focusing on its modernisation plan.

Spread over a three-year period, the plan aims at ceding the paper culture to favour a comprehensively electronic management.
The other aspect of the plan pertains to structural adjustments, especially for the international activity.
With the opening of its first subsidiary in China on April 16, 2007, the London market will inaugurate a new formula of development which is likely to extend to other emerging markets.
