MAMDA increases its shareholding in BCP

The Mutuelle Agricole Marocaine d’Assurances (MAMDA) and Mutuelle Centrale Marocaine d’Assurances (MCMA) have bought out 4.75% of the shares detained by International Financial Corporation (IFC) in the capital of the Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP).

Finalized on June 5, 2017, the transaction is worth 2.4 billion MAD (247 million USD). Agricultural mutual companies now detain more than 10% in BCP’s capital.
