New approvals and several appointments at SCG-Ré

The 91^st ordinary session of the regional insurance control commission (CRCA) of the Inter-African Conference on Insurance Markets (CIMA) met in Cotonu, Benin, from 23 to 28 April 2018.

According to a press release issued on May 22, 2018 , SCG-Ré Gabon is now licensed to carry out reinsurance operations in all countries of the CIMA zone. Approval is also granted to NEW ACE Baker Tilly, as co-auditor of SCG-Ré.

The CRCA also approved several appointments within the Gabonese reinsurer:

• Edouard-Pierre Valentin as chairman of the board of directors
• Crépin Magloire Andrew Gwodog as general manager
• Judicaël Mawi as deputy general manager
