The 41st General Assembly of the FANAF in Marrakech
From February 13 to 16, 2017, the city of Marrakech host the 41st General Assembly of the Fédération des Sociétés d’Assurances de Droit National Africaines (FANAF) under the theme: "New regulatory issues and operational challenges: what strategy for the African insurance? ".
The inauguration ceremony held under the presidency of CIMA secretary general Issofa Nchare witnessed a record attendance of 2000 participants from 43 countries, thus beating the record of 1500 speakers established the previous year in Abidjan.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting are the new regulations on the increase in the minimum capital of the CIMA zone as well as the increase in the preretention rate of premiums.
