Overseeing internet insurance

The marketing of insurance products via internet has been introduced by CNIA SAADA. The March 9, 2012 circular of the ministry of finance is overseeing this kind of transaction. It is a reminder of the different regulations provided by the law 31-08 pertaining to the protection of consumers with regard to distance contracts and those relating to the electronic transmission of legal materials. The provisions of the insurance Code regarding the sale via internet (law 17-99) are equally stated in the circular.
