Philippe Rocard, new chairman and general manager of AXA Assurances Morocco

Philippe Rocard has been appointed chairman and general manager of AXA Morocco. He has taken over Michel Hascoët, who was at the head of the company for almost five years. The appointment will take effect on March 31, 2016.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, Philippe Rocard is also an actuary. He began his insurance career in 1992 at Groupama Gan as industrial risks manager. He joined AXA France in 1999.

AXA Assurances Morocco achieved a turnover of 3.65 billion MAD (405 million USD) in 2014 with a net income of 397 million MAD (44 million USD).
