Regional partnership between CIMB and Sompo

The Malaysian bank CIMB Group Holdings has established a new development strategy. It is in an effort to cope with the decline in domestic demand that the bank has embarked on this path.

The partnership CIMB has established with Sompo Japan Nipponkoa has made it possible to distribute the non-life insurer’s products through the bank’s regional offices, call centers and internet platforms in the whole of Southeast Asia.
The bank has a strong presence in Malaysia and Thailand. It also operates in 16 other countries of the subcontinent.
