Reinsurance, job offers remain high in Asia

Reinsurance demand is growing in Asia. According to some surveys, reinsurers are seeking staff able to underwrite regionally. The main players on the labor market remain the European and Asian companies keen on extending their operations from Singapore. As specialists are scarce in the City-State, a massive flow of labor force from India, Dubai or China is taking place. Salaries are 15% to 35% higher than those in force in these countries for specialized positions but remain 10% to 20% lower in comparison with Europe.
