RMA Watanya is investing in Africa

RMA Watanya announced the acquisition of four insurance companies operating in three major countries in the CIMA zone, without divulging the names of these areas, nor those of the companies.
According to the newspaper Jeune Afrique, the move consists in taking a majority stake in four subsidiaries of the Ivorian group Belife Insurance: Beneficial Life Insurance SA and Beneficial General Insurance SA in Cameroon, Beneficial Life Insurance SA Togo and Belife Insurance SA Côte d’Ivoire. Moroccan insurer confirmed that these acquisitions are just the beginning of a major expansion plan in Africa.
