Saham Assurances, focus on Africa

Speaking on the occasion of the Casablanca insurance meeting, Mehdi Tazi, general manager of Saham Assurances Morocco gave more details on the expansion plans of the group in Africa.

Saham Assurance would aim 5 countries: Nigeria (due to its significant economic growth), Côte d'Ivoire, Togo (two countries with an emerging industry), Mali and Mauritania (transition countries with an emerging insurable).

Mehdi Tazi is further back on the strategy of the group which claims itself as a "Pan-African and Pan-Arab" group. "In all countries where the Group expands, local management is privileged," he explains in this context.
