SCOR, best life reinsurer in the United States

For the second consecutive year, SCOR was named "Life reinsurer of 2016 in North America" by the "Reactions" magazine.

This award reflects the strong positioning of the French reinsurer in the United States.
In recent years, SCOR has invested heavily in the US market. In 2011, the reinsurer acquired Transamerica Re's mortality portfolio.

Two years later, it acquired Generali US, a company specializing in lie reinsurance becoming at the same time the first life reinsurer in the United States.
