SCOR estimates the cost of September 2017 catastrophes at 95 billion USD for the market

SCOR estimates the insured losses caused by hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, as well as the latest earthquake that hit Mexico at 95 billion USD.

These major catastrophes, which followed one another in less than one month, are expected to cost the French reinsurer losses of around 430 million USD in the third quarter of 2017 after retrocession and taxes.
