Takaful Insurance Company is starting its activities

Having finalised all paper work, Takaful Insurance Company (TIC) is now operational. It is the market's number one company having a cooperative character.

Endowed with 10 000 000 LD (8.1 million USD), TIC is run by Mr. Basem A Tantush as Chief executive officer assisted by Farej M Nashnoush, Chief Operation Officer. Based in Tripoli, the company is intent on opening a branch in Benghazi and another one in Misurata in the course of its first year.
