The aviation market affected by a new loss

The search and rescue operations are continuing to trace the AirAsia QZ8501 flight lost on the night of Saturday, December 27, 2014 over the Java Sea.The aircraft, an Airbus A320-200, had 162 people on board.

Allianz, the main reinsurer of AirAsia through its subsidiary AGCS (Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty) specifies that it is too early at this stage to assess the cost of the catastrophe.

As a reminder, this is the third accident of the Malaysian airline since the beginning of 2014 after the MH370 flight (8 March) and the MH17 flight (July 17) .
