The brokerage business is still in its early stages

Since the adoption of the 2002 law governing the country's brokerage activities, very little progress has been achieved by the business which stood still. India currently accounts for 238 brokers among which J.B. Boda and Interlink. The large international brokers such as Marsh McLennan, Aon and Willis have recently made their entry on the Indian market.
