During a conference held in Dubai on February 26 and 27, 2008, an officer in the brokerage firm Marsh Mac Lennan has underscored the magnitude of underinsurance for oil companies. This situation is linked to the increase of oil prices which becomes a risk- aggravating factor in case of a claim.
