Uber provides free insurance for Indian collaborators

The US firm Uber Technologies has provided free insurance to the 450 000 drivers working with its reservation platforms in India.
Launched since September 1, 2017, the insurance policy covers hospitalization, disability and death following traffic accidents.

The company specialized in the exploitation of mobile applications and in bringing into contact users with drivers is currently facing several legal and social problems in India, one of its biggest global markets.
In early 2017, thousands of Uber drivers protested against the decline of their revenues and the deterioration of their working conditions.
