Wafa Assurance is getting established in Tunisia

Wafa Assurance, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group Attijariwafa Bank, has obtained preliminary agreement for the establishment of a life insurance company in Tunisia. The new entity, whose name could be Société Nouvelle d’Assurance (former name of Wafa Assurance in Morocco), will be jointly detained by Wafa Assurance (Morocco) and Attijariwafa Bank (Tunisia). In 2011, Wafa Assurance ranked first on the Moroccan market with 22.1% of the market shares.
