Watania Takaful, 2017 results: net profits and combined ratio

Watania Takaful reported in late 2017 a remarkable progression of its net profits which rose from 400 000 SAR (106 696 USD) in 2016 to 7.6 million SAR (2.03 million USD) one year later. The company’s combined ratio has improved by 10.5 points going from 108% in 2016 to 97.5% in 2017.

Watania Takaful is operational in various classes of business such as engineering, marine transport, workmen’s compensation, motor and health. The latter two classes generated 85% of the company’s turnover.
