Africa Re, the leading reinsurer in Ethiopia

Africa Re has opened a representation office in Ethiopia. It is the first reinsurer to get settled in the country.

Africa Re, headquartered in Lagos, has expressed its intention to establish an underwriting office in Addis Ababa in 2008. The African reinsurer, which has six representation offices across the continent, accounts this new establishment for the high market potential.

Ethiopia stands among the 41 member countries shareholders of Africa Re.
