AGF Afrique is becoming Allianz Africa

The AGF Afrique brand is changing its name for that of Allianz Africa. This corporate name is effective as of October 1, 2009 for all the AGF Africa subsidiaries. All of the French Group AGF was purchased ten years ago by the German insurer Allianz. The brand change officially started on September 14 and is due to continue until the end of the year 2009 for all the French subsidiaries.

Set up more than a century ago, the Allianz group has developed insurance and finance activities in 70 countries. In Africa, it operates in life and non-life insurance through thirteen subsidiaries.
