AM Best affirms Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company's rating

AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of “A-” (Excellent) and the Long-Term Credit Rating of “a-” (Excellent) of Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company (AKTI). The outlook for both ratings remains stable.

These ratings reflect AKTI’s strong balance sheet, solid operating performance, limited business profile, and prudent management of business risks.

In recent years, AKTI has delivered solid technical performance, with a weighted average combined ratio of 83% over the period 2020-2024.

The company closed the 2025 financial year with a turnover of 524 million QAR (141.9 million USD), representing a 20% year-on-year increase.
