Annual forum of the FANAF area markets

The 1^st edition of the Annual forum of the FANAF* area marketswas held from 30^th to 31^st October 2014 in Libreville (Gabon).

The meeting was opened on a speech of Bernard Bartoszeck, president of the federation of Gabonese insurance companies (Fegasa), followed by three communications about, among others, the area markets statistics and the work of FANAF's executive bureau for the next three years.

The event, which gathered 150 participants of FANAF's markets, was centered around four panels:

• Organization of insurance markets: the reorganization of companies and market practices
• Enhancement of insurance markets
• Distribution of insurance
• Insurance regulation and supervision in CIMA area

Adama Ndiaye, current president of the FANAF, said that this forum would allow the area's insurers to "discuss about topics of general interest to share [their] experiences."
