Development of e-insurance

The supervisory authorities of the Sultanate of Oman are willing to set up an online insurance portal. This project, called "e-insurance gate", is designed to facilitate client access to insurance companies’ data.

Consumers will be able to directly compare motor policies’ tariffs and choose the insurance plan that best suits them.
The database will also provide information on companies, their organization and their management teams. In the long term, the insurance portal will allow customers to take out policies via their smartphone.
