A directive qualified as discriminatory

According to the Ghana Insurers Association (GIA) and the Ghana Insurance Brokers Association (GIBA), the recent government directive towards its ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) has a discriminatory order.

The disagreement concerns the obligation for MDAs to subscribe or renew their insurance policies only to insurance companies wholly or partially owned by the state.
