East Africa, Regional consolidation looming ahead

Kenyan, Tanzanian, Rwandan, Ugandan and Burundi insurers are preparing for the establishment of a common market in the five countries. Talks are conducted in order to set up an association which will be entrusted with the harmonization of insurance rules, the dispute settlements arising between the stakeholders and the quality standardization of the services provided.
