Important challenges for energy underwriters in the Persian Gulf

According to Michael Morgan, head of the energy department at Zurich Insurance, the premiums of the energy sector must increase substantially to cover the increased severity and frequency of claims. The Persian Gulf oil companies complain that, compared to the Gulf of Mexico, asset quality and the absence of major claims are not reflected in the premiums paid.
