Insurers have to be listed to face competition

In order to increase their financial capacities and better face competition, the authorities have recommended that insurance companies should speed up their entry to Nairobi's stock market and to further their commitment to the insurance of individuals with low incomes.

As a back up measure, the authorities offered operators a set of fiscal incentives.
