The «International Insurance Act» allow the IFSC to practise insurance activities overseas

The provisions contained in the new regulation, “International Insurance Act”, henceforth, authorize the Botswana international Financial Services Center (IFSC) to develop cross border insurance activities. In an effort to support and promote the sector at the regional level, a specific regulatory body will be set up at the end of the year.
