Internationally-renowned insurers invest in Kenya

Leapfrog has recently sold its 26.9% stake in Apollo Investment Ltd to Swiss Re in a transaction whose amount has not been disclosed. Apollo is a company specializing in traditional and alternative financing.
Kenya has become a major attraction for global insurers. A few weeks earlier, Prudential Insurance had bought out Shield Assurance for 1.5 billion KES (17.6 million USD).
