Liberalization of motor third party liability tariff

The Jordanian Insurance Federation (JOIF) is seeking a foreign consultancy firm to conduct a study of the market insurance. This firm’s task will be to find out the causes behind the losses that the professionals attribute to the motor third party liability cover. The price of this cover, 93 JOD (131 USD) per vehicle, is regarded as too low by insurers. Once the findings of the survey are submitted, the authorities will decide the possible deregulation of the motor third party liability tariffs.
