The Lloyd's is examining a possible establishment in Morocco

The Lloyd's has announced its intention to open a branch in the "Casablanca Finance City". This move will allow the London insurance and reinsurance specialist to get better positioned in Africa.

Already present in South Africa, the Lloyd's is also considering the opening of liaison offices in Zimbabwe, Mali, Malawi and Mauritius.

This conquest of Africa is part of the Lloyd's new strategy which aims at increasing its market share from the emerging countries.
