Matca, higher turnover and improved fundamentals

The Mutuelle d’Assurance des Taxis Compteurs (Matca), reported a turnover of 3.8 billion FCFA (8.1 million USD) in 2013, an increase of 5.5% in comparison with 2012. This growth is accounted for by the rising number of members and of the insured vehicles.

The company has excess solvency margin of 409 million FCFA (825 771 USD) along with excess coverage of regulated liabilities worth 116 million FCFA (234 204 USD).
