Results of the insurance market in 2013

According to the latest figures released by the national insurance council (CNA), the Algerian insurance market recorded in 2013 an amount of premiums of 113.9 billion DA (1.45 billion USD), up by 15 % compared to 2012 (99.3 billion DA).

With 105.9 billion DA (1.35 billion USD) collected in 2013 (+14% compared to 2012), the non-life insurance has accounted for 93% of the market share.
Auto insurance, in progress of 16.6%, displays a turnover of 61.3 billion DA (781 million USD).
