RSA acquires the third Omani insurer

Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) and Oman National Insurance (ONIC) have signed an agreement for the acquisition of Al Ahlia. RSA will have to disburse 49 million USD to purchase the third local insurer, owned by ONIC. In return, ONIC Holding will get a 20.03% share in RSA. This move will create the most important local insurance group.
