French companies have received 1.6 billion EUR (2.12 billion USD) in compensation from their insurers in respect to natural catastrophes-related claims.
This amount represents 40% of the total reimbursements paid to them in 2010. In 2009, this percentage was 25%. It was below 10%, ten years ago.
