SONAR non life rating

The South African rating agency Global Credit Rating (GCR) has granted an A rating to SONAR, Burkina Faso’s number one insurer, for its management of the 2004 - 2009 period.

The rating relative to the 2010 accounts will be disclosed shortly. SONAR non life has a share capital of 1.4 billion FCFA francs (2.9 million USD). The statutory placements of the company are covered at 124.16%.
