Standard & Poor's upgrades the rating of SCOR from "BBB +" to "A-"

Standard&Poor's agency upgraded the French reinsurer from BBB+ to A- with stable outlook. The decision, which came on August 1, 2005, marks the fruition of a three-year recovery plan carried out by the company.
