SUNU offers guarantees for political violence

SUNU Assurances Burkina Faso has marketed a new insurance product that covers political risks.

The "Violence and loss of profits insurance" policy covers the damage caused to property (building and contents) resulting, among other things, from strikes, riots, civil commotion , acts of malice, rebellions, mutinies, foreign or civil wars, etc.
The new product targets companies, hotels, restaurants and theaters. The minimum amount of the premium is 1 million FCFA (1.633 USD).

Let's reminder that Burkina Faso has been recently shaken by mutinies and popular uprise.
